Binks Offers the New and Improved Exel(TM) Pump for an Array of Finishing Applications
(June 23, 2008) Glendale Heights, IL - Binks is proud to offer the new stainless steel EXEL(TM) pump, designed for high-flow circulation systems requiring moderate pressure with maximum durability and dependability.
The Binks Exel(TM) pump works with water-borne and solvent-borne fluids, catalyzed coatings, high solids coatings, abrasive materials, and moisture-sensitive materials. They are ideal for highly filled abrasive, "Tough-to-Pump" thixotrophic and shear sensitive materials.
Available in three 4:5.1 all-stainless-steel models, the Binks Exel(TM) pump delivers up to 6.85 GPM at 60 cycles per minute and feature a maximum inlet pressure of 100 psi (6.9 bar) and a maximum working pressure of 450 psi (31 bar). At approximately the same rate of air consumption, the Binks Exel(TM) pump can deliver significantly more fluid than other horizontally opposed piston pumps.
Features of the Binks Exel(TM) pump include stainless steel wetted fluid chambers with self-priming pistons and smooth internal passages with straight through flow patterns. All Excel(TM) pumps can be ordered with hard chrome-plated stainless steel or ceramic-coated pistons with pressure loaded wiper seals, ensuring a longer life with less maintenance.
