Bar Feeder can feed bars from 0.7-12.7 mm.

July 7, 2008 - Targeting medical and other small precision parts manufacturing industries, Elite 112 is engineered with closed, calibrated, round section channels, enabling high performance, even with high-rotation spindle speeds. Able to synchronize with ultra-high headstock acceleration on Swiss-style machines, bar feeder features low inertia (-40%) mechanical synchronization system to ensure precision following of headstocks, including those actuated by linear motors, regardless of bar diameter.

New IEMCA Elite 112 Offers Small Diameter Solution

June 24, 2008

Charlotte, NC - IEMCA's newest bar feeder, the Elite 112, was designed to meet the growing needs of the medical and other small precision parts manufacturing industries. The high-performance, flexible bar feeder offers a precise lift and transfer magazine system and can feed bars from 0.7 mm to 12.7 mm.

The Elite 112 boasts a minimum inertia (-40%) mechanical synchronization system to ensure precision following of headstocks, including those actuated by linear motors, regardless of bar diameter. This very low inertia and high speed electronic power transmission control allow the Elite 112 to synchronize perfectly with the ultra-high headstock acceleration on today's Swiss-style machines.

The Elite 112 has been engineered with closed, calibrated, round section channels, enabling high performance, even with high-rotation spindle speeds. This speed takes the bar feeder out of the equation as the production bottleneck. No special adjustments are necessary when switching jobs and quick-fit channels help minimize retooling time.

IEMCA held the original patents on several bar feeder technologies that are now duplicated by other manufacturers. Hydrodynamic guide channel system enables simple, quick changeover and reduced noise and vibrations. The unique guide channel design allows the guide diameter to be changed by only changing the front guide sections. The bar pusher is contained in a tube fixed to the upper wall of the rear guide.

IEMCA, a trusted name in bar feeder and gantry loader technology, built its reputation on a track record of renowned quality, with exceptional sales and service worldwide since 1961. Our bar feeders are supported by factory trained service engineers, strategically located throughout North America.
