Combining project, task, time, and people management tools, MproLite v5.0 includes Outlook Add-in that enables users to directly link e-mail to any project, task, or phase of their work process. E-mails and attahments can be converted into progress update, or used as reminder of action needed in form of task or meeting. Written in ASP.NET, Javascript, and Ajax, it accesses Micrsoft SQL database via Microsoft Windows 2003 web server.

SMITH RIVER, Calif., June 24 / -- Performance Solutions Technology, LLC (http://www.managepro.com/), announces the release of ManagePro Lite 5.0, bringing powerful, but simple project, task, time and people management tools to a graphical interface within Microsoft Outlook via its unique Outlook Add-in. No longer are you restricted to organizing email by folder, and trying to manage work from the Outlook Task list bar. Now there's a seamless method of dragging and dropping your email onto a ManagePro outline of your current work projects, tasks and goals. Emails are immediately converted into either a progress update with the email's attached documents, or a reminder of an action needed in the form of either a task or meeting. Tasks and Meetings within Outlook are synchronized with the MproLite calendar and vice versa.
MproLite is a lite version of Performance Solution Technology's leading project and performance management software product ManagePro. MproLite combines the core features of ManagePro into a browser based application designed to provide all the tools needed to get at three fundamental questions:
1. Where are we going?
2. How are we going to get there?
3. What needs to happen today?
MProLite operates on either Windows based PCs or Macs, using Internet Explorer 7.0, FireFox 2x or Safari 3x. Written in ASP.NET, Javascript and Ajax; it accesses a Micrsoft SQL database via a Microsoft Windows 2003 web server. MProLite operates from the same web-server based ManagePro SQL database that ManagePro Smart and ManagePro Plus users share, providing instantaneous updates across an organization regardless of license type.
MproLite 5.0 is available as a self-hosted application, or a software as a service (SAS) hosted by Performance Solutions Technology at http://www.managepro.com/. MProLite pricing starts at $240/year/license when hosted by PST.
