At 100% duty cycle, they provide 500 A air-cooled capacity with CO2 and 350 A with mixed gases, based on NEMA standards. WINDSOR, Ontario, Canada. June 23, 2008- Tregaskiss has introduced its new TOUGH GUN(TM) ThruArm(TM) Series with patent-pending LSR (Low-Stress Robotic) Unicable technology.
Designed specifically to minimize downtime and improve welding performance on today's thru-arm robotic welding systems, the TOUGH GUN ThruArm Series with LSR Unicables is available as a complete package (from the feeder to the contact tip) for both clutch and solid-mount robotic systems, including those by Fanuc, OTC Daihen, ABB and Motoman. The LSR Unicables are also available separately for replacement should they become worn, and they can be installed on thru-arm robots featuring other select brands of air-cooled robotic guns.
Tregaskiss' LSR Unicables incorporate unique features to prevent production downtime, including a rotating power connection that relieves stress caused by routine torsion and a protective conduit to shield the cable components from harsh welding environments. Tregaskiss guarantees the LSR Unicables with a 2 year limited warranty.
