Belgium, 2008, June 17th - Attractel Ltd., a leading VoIP company Today, Attractel Ltd. announced a major release of the Zoiper IAX and SIP softphone, namely: version 2.15 for Windows; version 2.03 for Linux; version 2.03 for Mac OS X. All new versions feature added capabilities and bug fixes.

The 2.15 Windows release now has an improved T.38 fax sending interface including the Zoiprint printer driver that enables users to easily send a variety of file types, including text documents, images and even web pages (Zoiper Biz). This functionality allows users to send emails with both web browsers and mail clients. Other new features include off-hook handling for external devices; volume control for Yealink devices; forced reregistration of accounts on change of network state, new option to keep Call forwarding / Auto answer settings active after restart (Biz), if desired; and more. There are various enhancements to T.38 faxing plus other changes, as well as several bug fixes.

The new features of both 2.03 versions (Linux and Mac OS X) include: changeable number of lines (Biz); certificate resetting system (Biz); authentication username and registration expiry for SIP accounts; detection of running Zoiper using UNIX sockets, and more. Also, Japanese Linux and Mac OS X users may take advantage of Zoiper in their native language now. Important issues have been fixed as well. Zoiper users are advised to upgrade to the new versions.
