AURUM(TM) cross recessed pan head, socket head cap screws, hexagon nuts, and washers are made of AURUM thermoplastic polyimide resin. Brown in color, material exhibits heat resistance that enables continuous use at 240ºC and clean characteristics that ensure outgas is reduced to microscopic levels. Amounts of metallic impurities, such as alkali metal, are also reduced to microscopic levels. UL 94V-0 flame resistant material is also resistant to chemicals, plasma, radiation, and abrasion.
A range of AURUM(TM) screws have been introduced into the newly launched Rino Industries 849 page mechanical drive components catalogue.
AURUM(TM) is a super-engineering thermoplastic excellent for its special thermal, physical, chemical and electric characteristics. Excellent heat resistance enables continuous use at 240ºC and its special clean characteristics ensure outgas is reduced to microscopic levels below high temperatures.
