UV Fused Silica Rod Lenses have small diameter.

June 19, 2008 - Available in 1-5 mm dia and 8 lengths ranging from 2-20 mm, TECHSPEC® UV Fused Silica Rod Lenses are small diameter rods that, when illuminated, act as cylinder lens, focusing collimated light into a line. They are polished on circumference, ground on both sides, and provide high transmission from UV into NIR. Featuring low coefficient of thermal expansion, units are suited for use in biomedical instrumentation, UV microscopy, and laser scanning applications.

May 23, 2008, Barrington, NJ. Edmund Optics® new TECHSPEC® UV Fused Silica Rod Lenses are highly polished small diameter rods that provide excellent transmission from the UV into the NIR. They are available in diameters ranging from 1mm to 5mm and in eight lengths from 2mm to 20mm.

EO's Fused Silica rod lenses are manufactured with precise diameters and unsurpassed surface quality. They are polished on the circumference and ground on both sides. When illuminated they act as a cylinder lens, focusing collimated light into a line.
