Clamp Extrusion requires no track drilling or fasteners.

June 12, 2008 - Designed to fit 40 mm series structural aluminum extrusion, Quicktrak® allows trouble-free mounting of signature DualVee® Track. Design creates solid interface between beam, clamp, and DualVee track, retaining components in state of compression, which significantly increases joint rigidity. DualVee track is available in carbon and SS, hardened or unhardened, and in single lengths up to 22 ft. Plating options are also available.

Bishop-Wisecarver's New Quicktrak® Provides Easy Installation and Excellent Rigidity

New Clamp Extrusion Allows Trouble-Free Mounting of Signature DualVee® Track Without Drilling or Fasteners

Pittsburg, CA - - June 3, 2008 - - Bishop-Wisecarver Corporation, manufacturer of the original DualVee guide wheel and industry leader in guided motion technology, announced today the availability of its new QuickTrak series clamp extrusion, a quick and economical way to accurately mount its widely recognized DualVee track - in a fraction of the time required by existing methods.

This latest addition to the company's product line is designed to fit the leading 40mm series structural aluminum extrusions. QuickTrak requires no track drilling or fasteners, resulting in a low-cost installation. The unique design creates a solid interface between the beam, clamp and DualVee track, retaining the components in a state of compression, which significantly increases joint rigidity.

"We are excited to offer this level of ease and flexibility for DualVee customers," says Nigel Watson, Engineering Manager at Bishop-Wisecarver. "But the core benefit of QuickTrak is that it integrates our world-renowned DualVee technology, and presents a simple and fast solution for linear motion."

The initial offering is designed for the company's size 3 DualVee track, but will soon be followed by additional sizes and variations. Notably, due to the 90 degree vee design, smaller size DualVee wheels can also run on the size 3 track. DualVee track is available in carbon and stainless steel, hardened or unhardened, and in single lengths up to 22 feet. Plating options are also available.

Bishop-Wisecarver, known for creating one-of-a-kind custom solutions for over 57 years, is willing to design custom QuickTrak/DualVee configurations to suit individual application needs.

"We continuously endeavor to anticipate and fulfill our customers' changing needs through ongoing development and expansion of our proven DualVee line," says Pamela Kan, President of Bishop-Wisecarver. "QuickTrak continues our 40-year history of customer-driven innovation, providing an ideal value added option for quick DualVee track integration."

The company will showcase QuickTrak at IWF in Atlanta, August 2008, and IMTS in Chicago, September 2008.
