Multi-Axis Machining
Time-saving techniques for multi-axis machining
Newport Beach, California - June 2, 2008 - NCCS, the developer of NCL multi-axis machining software for the aerospace, automotive and turbo machinery industry, introduces new enhancements for multi-axis machining within NCL with time-saving techniques thereby, increasing overall productivity.
Surface Manipulation
The latest version of NCL offers many new features including implementing surface manipulation.
o In NCL, users now have the ability to manipulate surfaces within the part program.
o Surface UV directions and normal vectors can now be modified by the user to match the required tool orientation when machining the surface. This capability helps to improve the part programming process making it more efficient.
According to David Schultz, NCCS' Manager of CAD/CAM Applications, "To remain competitive, we go above and beyond to continually enhance our software, creating only the best to address the needs of today's manufacturers. NCL's latest enhancements give users time-saving techniques, along with the ability to quickly generate complex geometric entities, all within a single interface".
