Designed for research, routine quality control, and teaching needs, these cost-effective instruments offer excellent throughput and affordable analysis of liquid and solid samples. The systems offer unlimited method and data storage using USB memory devices. Integrated local control software provides solutions for a multitude of laboratory requirements from fixed wavelength measurements and quantitative analysis to wavelength scanning and multi-component analysis.
The Helios UV-Visible product line already provides over 10,000 customers worldwide with easy-to-use, versatile and affordable spectrophotometer systems. The new Helios instruments continue this tradition with enhanced software and memory as well as superior connectivity - all in a new modern design. Addressing the demand for increased sample throughput, the instruments allow ease of use with built-in software, keypad and unique SmartStart features, now backed up by an integral flash drive. Connectivity to standard USB compatible printers provides expanded flexibility.
Unique and advanced PC control is available from the VISIONsecurity, VISIONlife and VISIONpro software interfaces. Customized manipulation of data is available using built-in Math functions and the UVcalc spreadsheet feature. Report templates can be created for customized laboratory reporting and documentation of results. Easily export your data to popular PC applications such as Microsoft Excel, OriginPro and GRAMS. A wide selection of dedicated, PC-based, industry-specific software interfaces are offered to improve productivity of routine operations including color analysis, materials characterization, enzymatic food analysis and more. Electronic signatures and audit trails for laboratories requiring regulatory compliance such as 21 CFR Part 11 are facilitated with the VISIONlite SE or VISIONsecurity software.
To further increase productivity, a wide array of new accessories are available including a solid sampling holder incorporating industry standard 2x3" sample slides. This new accessory caters to a variety of material science measurements for both transmission and specular reflectance characterizations.
