A New Way to Look at TIG Welding for Construction Applications

Lincoln Electric Launches Invertec® V310-T TIG Welder Featuring a Patent-Pending LCD Screen That Allows for Ultimate Weld Process Control

Cleveland - The Lincoln Electric Company announces the introduction of the Invertec® V310-T AC/DC - the most technologically advanced TIG welder in its class. It was specifically designed to serve as a lightweight, compact welding solution for construction, advanced motorsports, ship building and construction.

The machine's most easily recognizable feature is its large, bright LCD screen - the patent-pending Dynamic Display(TM) - making all relevant parameters visible at a glance. The operator now has ultimate control over weld processes from simple stick mode and basic TIG to AC/DC TIG pulse welding.

The screen allows for easy viewing of adjustable parameters with a single control knob, allowing the user to scroll through each setting. More complicated controls, such as AC frequency, are now readily viewable and, for example, show how the arc is affected when parameters are changed or adjusted.

Other competitive advantages of the Lincoln Electric Invertec V310-T include:
Increased portability with its lighter weight (80 percent less than a conventional TIG machine), less space requirements (75 percent the size of a conventional machine), an auto reconnect and simplified installation

Lower operating costs with decreased power consumption, higher power factor and lower current draw because Inverter technology uses less power and draws up to 70 percent less current than a conventional machine, resulting in smaller input conductor and fuse sizes

Optional inclusion of a "smart" water cooler system, which digitally controls the speed of the water cooler's three-phase pump motor based on coolant temperature for quiet operation and long, dependable life

Detailed set-up menu with the ability to customize the machine through enabling optional controls like a spot timer, choosing English, Spanish or French, and adjusting factory default parameters and more

The Invertec V310-T also allows users to customize the arc through its adjustable AC frequency and selectable waveshapes. And, with its soft, crisp and AC stick modes, it provides exceptional welding performance on all electrodes.

The machine features Lincoln's inverter technology, which provides excellent welding performance with adjustable AC frequency, expanded AC balance control, selectable AC waveshapes and high-speed DC TIG pulsing. Inverter technology translates into quieter operation due to less radiated high frequency noise and interference.

Lincoln Electric's Invertec V310-T AC/DC machine is now available at a local welding distributor. Or call (888) 355-3213 or visit www.lincolnelectric.com to obtain Bulletin E3.115.1 to learn more.

The Lincoln Electric Company, headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, is the world leader in the design, development and manufacture of arc welding products, robotic arc-welding systems, plasma and oxyfuel cutting equipment and has a leading global position in the brazing and soldering alloys market.
