Custom Terminals meet needs of mid-volume customers.


May 16, 2008 - ETCO Custom Electric Terminals come in stock widths up to 1.75 in. and thickness up to 0.030 in. Supplied loose or in strip form, they can include blades for plugs, terminals, male/female PCB connects, ring terminals, receptacles, and wire splices in 25,000 minimum quantities. Terminals can be made from materials such as brass, tinned brass, nickel plated steel, copper plated steel, phosphor-bronze, and beryllium-copper, depending upon part geometry.

Custom Electrical Terminals New Die Satisfies Mid-Volume Demand


A new die design for producing production quality custom electrical and electronic terminals for customers with mid-volume (25,000 min.) requirements is being introduced by ETCO Incorporated of Warwick, Rhode Island.

ETCO Custom Electric Terminals manufactured using their new RPQ (Rapid Production Quality) die are offered with stock widths up to 1.75" and thickness up to 0.030". Supplied loose or in strip form, they can include blades for plugs, terminals, male and female PCB connects, ring terminals, receptacles, wire splices, and related parts in 25,000 min. quantities.

Developed to fill the gap between prototype and full production quantities, ETCO Custom Electric Terminals can be made from materials such as brass, tinned brass, nickel plated steel, copper plated steel, tinned steel bearing-bronze, phosphor-bronze, and beryllium-copper, depending upon part geometry. The RPQ tooling is created utilizing wire EDM processes.

ETCO Custom Electric Terminals are priced according to configuration and quantity; with RPQ tooling costs depending upon complexity. Literature and price quotations are available upon request.
