Designed to withstand hostile conditions in machining/manufacturing environments, waterproof, IP67 rated SPOT LED 003 is impervious to heat, debris, liquids, coolants, and oil. Unit can be connected directly to 24 V power supply without regard for polarity, and is also available with universal voltage plug-in transformer (100-240 V). Available with either 10º spot or 40º flood optics, it utilizes LUXEON K2 LED lamps for consistent, high quality illumination.

Lighting Specialties is pleased to offer Waldmann Lighting new SPOT LED 003. This is the next generation of functional LED lighting for the machining centers and work areas of today.
The SPOT LED 003 demonstrates innovation, form and function at its best. With its integrated intelligent operating device, designed and manufactured by Waldmann, the SPOT LED 003 automatically compensates for voltage fluctuations, consumes very little energy and can be connected directly to a 24V power supply without regard for polarity. It is also available with a universal voltage plug-in transformer (100V-240V).
The light output is generated at 300 kHz which results in an even, flicker-free high-frequency illumination with no stroboscopic effect. The SPOT LED 003 is designed to withstand the most demanding and hostile conditions present in many machining and manufacturing environments. The luminaire is completely waterproof, impervious to heat, debris, liquids, coolants and oil and is available with up to an IP67 protection rating.
The SPOT LED 003 is available with either a 10º spot or 40º flood optics and utilizes the latest LUXEON K2 LED lamps for a consistently high quality of illumination. With over 50,000 hours of service life (or six hours of continuous operation) the SPOT LED 003 is maintenance-free and durable, with no lamps to change and no machine down time. Also, there is minimal heat generated in the direction of the light beam - instead, any heat produced by the LED source is dissipated towards the back of the luminaire. With its hardened aluminum housing and tempered safety glass lens, there is no baking on of coolants and lubricants and no negative thermal impact on machine components due to heat generated by the light source, all of which results in improved safety and productivity for machine operators.
This compact, heavy-duty and versatile luminaire has a mounting solution for any situation. The SPOT LED 003 is available with an articulated arm or a flexible gooseneck. Where space is an issue, the pivoting head, surface mount or flush mount versions have been designed to be permanently mounted to the machine. This means reliable, maintenance-free lighting where it's most needed.
