ZWCAD Delivers Important Updates to Version 2008
2008i provides boost in visual and processing performance
New York, April 22, 2008 - ZWSOFT, developers of advanced CAD tools, today announced the release of ZWCAD 2008i, the latest update of its popular 2D/3D CAD package. The update is available to current ZWCAD 2008 licensees and new ZWCAD customers through the ZWCAD website, or through resellers worldwide.
ZWCAD 2008 is a comprehensive and low-cost CAD system, which is compatible with AutoCAD®. Users can open, edit and save DWG/DXF files created in AutoCAD (2.5-2008), without the need for manual import or export operations. The improvement of ZWCAD2008i includes overall performance, gradient hatch, Image function with TIFF/TIF file as well as more DRX.
Faster Editing
Editing actions to drawn objects in the ZWCAD environment, such as Copy, Move, Rotate, Scale, Array, Wblock, Copyclip and Mirror, have dramatically increased speed in 2008i. Many of functions are twice as fast in the new update.
Programming of the TEXT function has been reconstructed using Unicode. Now text displays more accurately, especially when it loads from a different DWG code page.
Multi-Color Gradient Hatch
Along with many improvements to hatch boundary search in the 2008 version of ZWCAD, 2008i goes further by allowing you to make one or two color gradient hatch.
TIFF/TIF image with .tfw coordinate file
Now you can align TIFF/TIF images according to a .tfw coordinate file, lining up reference images accurately with the coordinate units of your project.
More DRX
An addition to the DRX programming interface in ZWCAD2008, the new Custom Object function makes developing custom applications easier.
