April 28, 2008 - MPT/MPS Series Mini Power Strip Terminal and Socket Strips feature .200 in. pitch, 14 mm board stack, up to 8 power pins, and are available with vertical and right angle orientations, polarized guide posts, and optional locking clips. MPT/MPS Series are Power Integrity Certified(TM), making available Power Integrity Guidelines that provide guidance on PCB power planes, heat dissipation around connector, and splitting power efficiently in connector.

Samtec's Mini Power Strip Interfaces

Samtec's Mini Power Strip Terminal and Socket Strips (MPT/MPS Series) are rated at 20 amps per contact. This is an unusually high power rating for a small footprint interconnect.

The MPT/MPS Series are Power Integrity Certified(TM) so Current Cycling EIA 365-55 testing, Current Carrying Capacity data, and Power Integrity Guidelines are available. Power Integrity Guidelines provide guidance on PCB power planes, heat dissipation around the connector, and splitting power efficiently in connector.
