Hydraulic Testing Machine does not need water for cooling.
April 21, 2008 -
With capacity of 2,000 kN, SATEC(TM) Series 2000KN universal testing machine can perform tension, compression, and flexure tests on high strength materials including metals, fasteners, chain, wire, composites, wood, and concrete. Single test space provides different stroke lengths and extended test openings, while variable pressure hydraulic power supply reduces noise and heat generation. System can include optional open-faced high capacity grips.

Instron® Introduces Its Satec(TM) Series 2000KN Universal Hydraulic Testing System
Instron, a leading provider of testing equipment designed to evaluate mechanical properties of materials and components, introduces its new SATEC(TM) Series 2000KN universal testing machine. With a capacity of 2,000 kN (200,000 kgf / 450,000 lbf) this frame is able to perform tension, compression and flexure tests on high strength materials, including metals, fasteners, chain, wire, composites, wood and concrete.
The 2000KN features a single, ultra-large test space that makes it easy to provide different stroke lengths and extended test openings to suit unique applications without costly customization. The upper actuator design makes the testing space easily accessible, increasing efficiency, productivity and operator safety. The system also features a variable pressure hydraulic power supply that reduces noise and heat generation. With no need for water cooling, the 2000KN testing system is more environmentally friendly, while lower oil temperature means a longer oil life and ultimately, lower operating costs. Optional open-faced high capacity grips can be added to make specimen loading even simpler and more efficient.
