April 17, 2008 - Loaded with 4-20 mA output, RS-485 Modbus interface, SentryBus interface, integral alarm relays, and digital display, Model 5100-05-IT can be integrated into existing plant-wide safety and monitoring systems. Standalone network-enabled smart gas sensor module comes with scrolling LED with magnet operated menu and non-intrusive calibration, optional integral relay output, optional remote sensor that can be placed up to 100 ft from transmitter, and 316 SS enclosure options.

Sierra Monitor Releases New H2S IT Gas Sensor Module


Network-Enabled Smart Gas Sensor Module with 6-Month Calibration Interval

March 20, 2008 The new Sierra Monitor 5100-05-IT is the only Hydrogen Sulfide Gas Sensor with a 6 month (180 day) calibration cycle. This cuts maintenance costs in half when compared to the standard 90-day calibration interval common in the industry.

IT Series Hazardous Gas Detectors allow system integrators and instrumentation engineers to interface these proven gas sensors into their plant-wide safety and monitoring systems. Integration to existing systems is easy as the IT Series are loaded with 4-20 mA output, RS-485 Modbus interface, SentryBus interface, optional integral relay output and digital display! Non-intrusive calibration, remote sensor option and 316 Stainless Steel enclosure options are available on the 5100-05-IT.

The 5100-05-IT from Sierra Monitor Corporation is a stand-alone module loaded with the features required to provide the due diligence expected in hazardous areas including:

o Fastest response time, highest accuracy, and specifications unmatched in the industry
