Klein Tools Expands Its Great White® Cutting Line with Reciprocating Saw Blades

LINCOLNSHIRE, ILL - March 2008 - Klein Tools recently expanded its Great White® cutting line with premium and standard reciprocating saw blades.

Klein Tools' Great White premium reciprocating blades have innovative tooth geometry, which offers faster cutting with less vibration. To meet a variety of cutting applications, the blades are 1-inch wide and are available in blade lengths of 6 inches, 9 inches and 12 inches.

The premium blade is designed with a ½-inch universal shank to fit all popular reciprocating saw tools.

Featuring a variety of blade lengths and thicknesses, Great White standard reciprocating saw blades can be used for many different cutting applications. The blades are ¾ inch and 7/8 inch wide and have lengths of 6 inches, 8 inches, 9 inches and 12 inches. Its shock-resistant teeth resist strippage. Like the premium blades, standard blades fit all popular reciprocating saw tools with a ½-inch universal shank design.

All Klein Great White reciprocating blades have a bi-metal design for faster cutting and longer blade life. The different blades can cut through a variety of wood, wood with nails, and thin or thick gauge metal.

"Klein's premium and standard reciprocating saw blades are the newest addition to the Great White cutting line, that also includes hole saws," said Abby Ceppos, associate director of marketing, Klein Tools.

2007 marked Klein Tools' 150th anniversary. In 1857, Klein Tools' founder and blacksmith Mathias Klein forged the first-known U.S.-made pliers in Chicago. Since then, Klein Tools has grown to be the leading manufacturer of a variety of hand tools and occupational protective equipment.
