Inspection Camera suits microelectronics applications.

March 26, 2008 - Optima 7250 four megapixel camera enables users to inspect small SMT devices such as 01005 parts for presence, correct value, placement accuracy, and orientation. Offering in-process measurement and defect detection for wireless, RF, and NPI applications, unit is suitable measurement vehicle for PCBA manufacturers implementing 6-sigma SMD practices. It features built-in compensation for normal PCBA and process variation during program and runtime.

Santa Clara, California, USA -- Landrex Technologies, Inc. announces the availability of a new high resolution, Four MegaPixel camera specifically for demanding Microelectronics applications. "Customers can now inspect the smallest of SMT devices, like 01005 parts, for presence, correct value, placement accuracy, and orientation" said Lyle Sherwood, Vice President and Technology Director. "Up until the availability of the 4 megapixel color camera, this was not reliably achievable". The new capability will be available on the LANDREX Optima 7250 systems, on display at IPC/APEX, Booth# 2425. The Optima 7250 offers in-process measurement and defect detection for Wireless, RF, and NPI applications, and is an ideal measurement vehicle for PCBA manufacturers implementing 6-sigma SMD practices. It also features built-in compensation for normal PCBA and process variation during program and runtime.
