Amerlux Lighting Solutions Introduces "GRÜV" Miniature Recessed Linear Slot Fluorescent System for Gypsum Board, Slot Grid/ T-Grid Ceiling Applications at GlobalShop
CHICAGO- Designed to provide high-performance, visually comfortable, ambient lighting for retail environments, Amerlux Lighting Solutions introduces "GRÜV" at 2008 GlobalShop. Amerlux, a leader in energy-efficient, task-specific lighting solutions, expands its linear fluorescent systems offering with GRÜV, a recessed linear slot lighting system that provides specifiers and designers with a smaller scale, more architecturally pleasing palette of lighting solutions for the most discriminating environments. This new product line furthers Amerlux's commitment to facilitating sustainable strategies recognized by organizations such as LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) and The U.S Green Building Council. Amerlux will be exhibiting its line at Booth #4617 in the Store Fixturing Pavillion during GlobalShop.
More effective and aesthetically appealing than larger fixtures available today, GRÜV's three-inch aperture, with 1-½ inch deep extruded aluminum splay and mitered corners, provides general lighting that is both effective and visually appealing. The Amerlux exclusive hybrid micro-prism lens provides excellent transmission while concealing the lamp image. Utilizing the compact T5 or T5 High Output fluorescent lamps, staggered up to 6 inches to reduce socket shadow in a single- or two-light profile, GRÜV provides the best combination of scale, energy-efficiency and performance in an architectural recessed linear fixture. GRÜV, combined with Amerlux's small aperture Evoke 2.9" 20w Metal Halide Downlights, provide designers with the capability to facilitate sustainable strategies where energy consumption and maintenance ease are a concern.
GRÜV is perfect for a wide range of commercial and retail applications, and is particular well suited to office environments including open offices, conference rooms and individual offices. The luminaires, available for use in gypsum board and slot and t-grid ceilings, are offered in varying run-lengths and lamp-configurations to meet specifier needs. Fixtures can be continuously row-mounted using a drawer latching system that provides easy and precise joining of units.
GRÜV is also available in a larger aperture for use in 6-inch grid applications. A dimming option is available.
