High Speed " Mini" USB Interconnects

Astoria, NY, December 2007... A series of advanced, miniaturized, high speed USB plug and socket interconnects which accommodate accelerated wideband applications for computer and electronic devices is now being offered by Keystone Electronics Corp.

With data transfer speeds up to 480Mbps, these universal serial bus connectors interface with peripherals at 3 to 5 times the speed of parallel types plus 20 to 40 times faster than serial port connections for: Mouse/Keyboards, MP3 Players, Digital Cameras, DVD Players, Cable Modems, LAN's, and Audio Visual Equipment, to name a few.

Designed to withstand greater than 1,500 mating cycles, Keystone's "mini" USB Socket (Cat. No. 934TR) surface mounts and is provided on tape and reel to simplify installation by pick and place equipment. Gold-plated contacts help assure low contact resistance and high reliability. Insulators are UL approved per 94 V-O.

A mini plug version (Cat. No. 935) is also available for creating standard and custom USB cable assemblies. Available in bulk quantities, with delivery from stock through Keystone's global distribution network.

Keystone Electronics Corp. is a major manufacturer of interconnect components and hardware and provides a full complement of stamping, machining and assembly services. An in-house application engineering group is on hand to aid those needing product modifications or special designs.
