In addition to backing up the full database cluster, individual database or table, NetVault: Backup APM for PostgreSQL can also back up configuration files and perform global object-only backups. BakBone's solution supports SQL Plain-text, TAR and compressed formats, giving users the flexibility to select a backup format without learning PostgreSQL internals.
NetVault: Backup APM for PostgreSQL reduces downtime by speeding up restores and restoring only what is needed from the complete clusters to the granular level, individual databases or tables. Restores are fast and there is less chance for human error or a syntax error than with manual execution.
