PCB Cleaner fits on desktop.


January 18, 2008 - Providing contact cleaning for removal of contaminants down to 1 micron in size, Desk Top Clean Machine features 7 kV anti-static system to eliminate risk of recontamination. Feeding system allows operators to put PCBs through machine by hand and pull board through other end without damaging mechanism. Available in 150 and 300 mm cleaning widths, unit preforms double sided cleaning and uses pre-sheeted adhesive roll that operator peels off in layers when they are full of contaminant.

Teknek's Desk Top Clean Machine Launched at Productronica

An innovative compact desk top contact cleaning machine from Teknek is launched today at Productronica.

The new Clean Machine is designed to be used on circuit assembly workbenches in cleanroom environments to provide "just in time" contact cleaning for the removal of contaminants down to one micron in size.

It features a simple hand feed system to allow the operator to put PCBs through the machine by hand. A unique system permits the operator to pull the board through the other end without damaging the mechanism.

Other key features of the Desk Top Clean Machine include:
o Small footprint and can be wall-mounted to save space.
o Two cleaning widths available - 150mm and 300mm.
o Double sided cleaning for simultaneous cleaning of both sides of board saving time.
o Uses pre-sheeted adhesive roll - easy and safe to remove without the use of knifes The operator simply peals off a layer when the adhesive film is full of contaminant.
o Variable speed setting for easy integration into any process.
o Integral 7Kv anti-static system to eliminate risk of recontamination.
o High performance elastomer rollers provide highly efficient cleaning.
o Capable of processing thin film materials under 50 microns.
