Columbia, MD, USA - METTLER TOLEDO introduces a new line of entry and high level ReactIR(TM) reaction monitoring products - ReactIR(TM) 15m and ReactIR(TM) 45m. Each of these ReactIR(TM) tools is designed with specific users in mind.
The entry level ReactIR(TM) 15m is ideally suited for the Organic Chemist who needs reliability, ease of use and a tool that provides chemical information, rather than just data.
ReactIR 15m for Organic Chemists
The high end ReactIR(TM) 45m is a tool for Chemical Engineers and Technologists who focus on process optimization and characterization - where long term robustness, extreme sampling technology flexibility/applicability and performance are critical to Process Development success.
ReactIR 45m for Chemical Engineers and Technologists
Advancements in our AgX (Silver Halide) FiberConduit(TM) technology led to the release of our new SiComp AgX FiberConduit(TM) - a silicon-based ATR sensor integrated with AgX fiber technology. This is the first and only silicon-based AgX fiber technology available. Silicon ATR sensors are useful for monitoring reactions that involve nitriles, ketenes, metal carbonyls, isocyanates - to name a few . The aforementioned reactions are difficult to measure and monitor by other sensor materials, such as diamond. Coupled with AgX, the SiComp FiberConduit(TM) is flexible, easy-to-interface with your reactor and provides enhanced measurement reproducibility over traditional mirrored conduit technology.
The new ReactIR(TM) tools are developed on a common platform that results in an easy upgrade path from the entry to high end level, as well as extensibility with respect to novel sampling technologies and system options - including software driven system alignment, temp trending with reaction data, and multiplex capabilities. Coupling these new ReactIR(TM) products with the field proven Comp(TM) ATR probe technology and the successful and powerful iC IR(TM) software brings the Chemist and Chemical Engineer a reason to have this system and probe in their reactor - each and every time they run chemistry.
