Cryovac® HangPak Bag Optimizes Pegboard Merchandising

DUNCAN, S.C. (Oct. 24, 2007) - Sealed Air introduces the Cryovac® HangPak vacuum shrink bag. The new package provides maximum product freshness in a high vacuum, tight shrink package. The HangPak bag features a hole in the header enabling retailers to merchandise vacuum packaged cheeses, and processed meats in retail pegboard display cases.

The tough, multi-layered HangPak bag offers excellent shrink properties, secure seals, high mechanical resistance and outstanding clarity. Excellent abuse characteristics make the Cryovac® HangPak bag virtually puncture-proof under normal handling throughout distribution.

This creative packaging format is ideal for boneless, consumer-sized cuts of processed meats such as summer sausage, beef sticks and natural casing franks. It also is ideal for natural cheeses. The HangPak bag is available in plain and printed options, up to 10 colors, and ranges in sizes from 2 ½ inches to 6 inches wide and from 6 ½ to 18 inches long.
