Cryovac® BSC 6000 is designed for retail chub packaging of ground meats such as fresh pork sausage or ground beef. It creates flap-less seal, enabling graphics to be printed around entire package and preventing freezing agents from settling beneath flap. Flap-less seal also prevents obscuring of print on package and stays clean from contamination sources. Film comes in white or opaque, and can be printed in up to 10 colors.

Cryovac® BSC 6000 Film Now Available as Chub Package
DUNCAN, S.C. (Oct. 24, 2007) - Sealed Air's new Cryovac® BSC 6000 film is designed for high-speed retail chub packaging of ground meats such as fresh pork sausage, ground poultry or ground beef. With its high-abuse properties, excellent gloss and optics, and exceptional memory, the film creates an attractive, tight package from production to the consumer's home.
This unique BSC 6000 film eliminates the loose "flap" along the seal edge, enabling graphics to be printed around the entire package and preventing freezing agents from settling beneath the flap. Unlike traditional chub packages where seal flaps can cover UPCs and cut-lines, the film creates a flap-less seal that prevents the obscuring of print on the package and stays cleaner from contamination sources.
The film's high barrier properties are unmatched for maximum shelf-life. It is available in white or opaque, and can be printed in up to ten colors.
