Automotive SDRAM supports A1 and A2 grade temperature ranges.

November 23, 2007 - Covering densities from 16-512 Mb, automotive SDRAMs support both -40 to +85°C (A1 grade) and -40 to +105°C (A2 grade) temperature ranges. Units feature low operating and standby current, partial array self refresh (PASR), temperature compensated self refresh (TCSR), deep power down, and driver strength selection. Voltage options include 1.8 and 3.3 V Vcc and Vccq devices. SDRAMs are available in both standard and lead-free TSOP and BGA packages.

ISSI Announces 105 Degree C Extended Temperature SDRAM and the Industry's Most Complete Line of Automotive SDRAMs

SAN JOSE, Calif., Nov. 5 -- Integrated Silicon Solution, Inc. (NASDAQ:ISSI), a leader in advanced memory solutions, today announced the industry's most complete line of automotive SDRAMs by expanding temperature range support to include -40C to +105C devices. The product family covers densities from 16Mb to 512Mb and supports both -40 to +85C (A1 grade) and industry leading -40C to +105C (A2 grade) temperature ranges. The product line includes full automotive product quality support with complete automotive Production Product Approval Process documentation (PPAP) and AEC Q100 Stress Qualification for Integrated Circuits.

A wide range of mobile SDRAM features are supported including low operating and standby current, partial array self refresh (PASR), temperature compensated self refresh (TCSR), deep power down, and driver strength selection. Voltage options offered include 1.8V and 3.3V Vcc and Vccq devices. These automotive SDRAMs are available in TSOP and BGA packages in both standard and lead-free.

"Our leadership position with an extended temperature range to +105C gives the automotive customer a technical advantage for the many new high temperature applications requiring DRAMs in the automotive space," said Lyn Zastrow, ISSI vice president of sales. "And ISSI's long-term product support is critical to the automotive customer for containing life-cycle management costs," he added. "Additionally, for automotive applications, where a tested device is needed in die form, ISSI has embedded product support."

"Our automotive capabilities combined with long term product support makes ISSI the ideal automotive memory supplier," said Sanjiv Asthana, ISSI vice president of sales and marketing. "The extended temperature ranges in our automotive SDRAM product line gives ISSI the ability to fully support the growing automotive SDRAM market," he added.
