LED Power Solutions accept universal AC input of 90-264 Vac.


November 13, 2007 - Including 30 and 60 W models, PLN Series devices use PFC topology to offer up to 86% efficiency, class C Harmonic levels for lighting industry, and comply with UL1310 class 2 safety approvals providing less than 5 A. IP64 enclosure protects against dust and moisture, making them suitable for indoor/outdoor lighting applications. Units feature built in constant current operation with adjustable overcurrent and output voltage settings, and operating temperature range of -30 to +50°C.

MANSFIELD, Mass., October 29, 2007 -Astrodyne Corporation has added to its line of installation-ready, LED power solutions with the 30 W (PLN30) and the 60 W (PLN60) PLN Series. Using the latest PFC topology this Series provides high efficiency up to 86%, class C Harmonic levels for the lighting industry and extremely reliable performance. The IP64 enclosure protects against dust and moisture making them suitable for indoor or outdoor applications which include small scale moving signs, channel, backlighting, decorative, and architectural and border lighting. Other applications include stage and theater, orientation/pathway and commercial electronic LED displays.

PLN Series devices are limited power sources approved to UL1310 class 2 safety approvals providing less than 100VA or 5 Amps under any situation thereby reducing the risk of hazardous exposure. The PLN Series accepts a universal AC input of 90-264VAC and features built in constant current operation with adjustable overcurrent and output voltage settings. Additional features include short circuit, overload, overvoltage and overtemperature protection and an operating temperature range of -30 to +50°C. Backed by a 2 year warranty, the PLN Series is economically priced starting at $25 USD in OEM quantities.
