Habasit Belting introduces the M1185 Flush Grid 0.5" with new detectable POM for food applications; cooling crackers, chips and tortillas; drying and draining fruits and vegetables; breading meat and poultry. The detectable material is very easy to detect with common metal x-ray detectors used in the food industry. The innovative Smart Fit rod design provides maximum rod retention and allows for fast installation and repairs with a screwdriver. The M1185 Flush Grid 0.5" also features 9.6% more open area than competitors, an open hinge design and large open area (easy to clean), Plastic construction that will not fatigue like wire belts, and small transfers 0.5" (capable of transferring small product without damaging it).
