New High Performance NEMA 42 Brushless DC Motor

Magmotor - West Boylston, MA; A new compact high performance 8 pole brushless DC motor from Magmotor is well suited for unmanned vehicle and HEV systems for hydraulic pumps and power steering systems, packaging equipment, and other automation applications where high torque to weight ratio and efficiency are important.

The motor is capable of 40% more torque than typical 4-pole servo motor configurations enabling it the ability to solve more demanding applications in less space. The design produces a continuous torque of 1,600 oz-in, and a peak torque of 4,800 oz-in. A variety of electrical and mechanical options are available including encoders, connectors, or sealed for IP65 wash down requirements.
