New Douglas High Speed AxiomŽ BCL Case/Tray Packers Easily Adapt to Changing Product Life Cycles

Alexandria, Minnesota - July 31, 2007

The new Douglas High-Speed Continuous Motion AxiomŽ BCL case/tray packers use electronic motion controls to easily fit your application and constantly changing product life cycles. The AxiomŽ BCL adapts to many product types at speeds to 80 cases/trays per minute. The machine runs wraparound case blanks with inside or outside manufacturers' flaps or trays.

Features include a walk-in frame design that allows operator and maintenance personnel to quickly and efficiently complete changeovers and preventive maintenance and full-length polycarbonate guard doors for easy troubleshooting. A large size range and an intuitive HMI simplify the addition of future product sizes. An electronic handwheel provides effortless slow motion hand cycling of the machine when troubleshooting or when fine tuning due to slight variations in corrugated or product. Tool-free
changeovers with minimal change parts are completed in minutes.
