May 31 2007 -- Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., the world leader in serving science, has extended its innovative range of Thermo Scientific life science hybrid mass spectrometry with the introduction of two new instruments, the LTQ Orbitrap Discovery(TM) and the LTQ Orbitrap XL(TM). Offering outstanding mass accuracy, resolving power, dynamic range and sensitivity, these hybrid instruments offer significant advantages over Q-TOF instruments, both in terms of superior protein identification capabilities and increased sensitivity.
