Single-Output Power Supplies suit medical applications.


June 27, 2007 - Series SMD750 power supplies feature power factor correction, input voltage range of 90-264 Vac, and leakage current of less than 135 A at 132 Vac 50 Hz under cold start at 25°C. Measuring 5.0 x 8.5 x 2.8 in., units offer 6.3 W per cubic in. power density, 0-50°C operating temperature range, and 750 W of continuous output. Compliant with UL60601-1, GSA 22.2, No. 601.1, and IEC601-1 requirements, they are available in output voltage range of 3.3-56 V in 0.1 V increments.

Huntington Beach, California, Thursday, June 07, 2007 - The SMD750 Series of single output Medical power supplies offer a high-quality power source for the most demanding medical system applications. The SMD750 series features power factor correction (PFC) and a wide input voltage range of 90-264VAC operation for use in medical devices worldwide. This series has been designed with conservative de-rating and design margins to ensure reliable operation in the most demanding medical device environment.

The self-cooled SMD750 single-output power supply is available with any output voltage range from 3.3V to 56V in 0.1V increments. The power supply delivers 750 watts of continuous output power at 0°C to 50°C operating temperature.

The SMD750 series products offer the following features:

Meets worldwide medical safety requirements, including UL60601-1, GSA 22.2, No. 601.1, and IEC601-1.

Wide range AC input voltage Power Factor Correction (PFC) 90 to 264VAC. 90% efficiency typical at full load.

Compact footprint: a mere 5.0" W x 8.5" L x 2.8" H, and provides over 6.3 watts per cubic inch power density.

Leakage current less than 135A @132VAC 50Hz under cold start @ 25°C. Lower leakage current options are available by special order.

Remote sense, AC Power Fail, DC OK and Remote on/off signals are standard.
