Streamlight® Introduces Enhanced Stylus LED Flashlight

New Stylus Pro(TM) LED Penlight is Twice as Powerful as Original Stylus Model

EAGLEVILLE, PA - June 14, 2007 - Streamlight® Inc., a leading manufacturer of high-performance flashlights, today introduced the Streamlight Stylus Pro(TM) LED, a brighter and more powerful version of its popular Stylus penlight, designed to give professionals in a wide range of industries increased features and visibility.

The new, ultra-compact penlight utilizes a .5-Watt High-Flux LED, as well as special Micro Optical System (MOS) technology to deliver exceptionally bright light -- more than twice the output of the regular Stylus - while also optimizing runtime.

"The Stylus Pro packs an extraordinary punch in terms of the bright light it delivers, especially for its compact size," said Streamlight Chief Operating Officer Ray Sharrah. "It's the ideal secondary light for industrial users to carry in their pocket for close-up work, such as making repairs under the hood or chassis of a car or reading a serial number on a piece of equipment," said Sharrah.

More compact than the original Stylus, the Stylus Pro measures just 5.3 inches and weighs 1.64 ounces. The light features a .5 Watt, 30,000-hour lifetime High Flux LED that provides an output of 24 Lumens typical and offers a continuous regulated runtime of 7.5 hours. The Stylus Pro uses two easily obtainable "AAA" alkaline batteries. It employs a push-button tailcap switch for easy, single-handed operation.

Highly durable, the Stylus Pro is constructed of machined aluminum, featuring an anodized finish, and an unbreakable polycarbonate lens with scratch resistant coating. The Stylus Pro also incorporates an internal polymer body liner and shockproof switch housing that allows for operation under the most extreme conditions and a multiple O-Ring design to ensure waterproof use. The Stylus Pro, which retails for $29.95, comes with a tear-resistant nylon holster and unbreakable pocket clip, as well as Streamlight's Limited-Lifetime Warranty.
