Matthews Introduces Fast-Drying, VOC-Free, Acetone-Based Drop-on-Demand Ink-Jet Inks in Wide Range of Colors
Pittsburgh, PA, June 7, 2007 - Matthews Marking Products has just introduced the SCP-900 Series of inks for use with existing Drop-on-Demand ink-jet systems. Formulated to meet the increasing concerns for environmentally responsible industrial processes, these inks contain no VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) and provide good adhesion, strong UV stability, and durable abrasion resistance.
Available colors include red, blue, green, black, and white. Dry time for these inks averages between 1 and 3 seconds, depending on the substrate and boldness of the mark. The SCP-900 series of inks has been developed to work with Matthews' DOD 8000 Series and standard valve ink-jet printheads.
