Reflect Systems Announces Major Upgrade for Industry-Leading ReflectView(TM) Digital Signage Platform

DALLAS, May 14 -- Reflect Systems Inc., a leading provider of rich media software applications for digital signage and corporate communications, today released ReflectView 2007, the latest major release of its industry-leading digital signage and in-store media platform, for general availability. The new version, which can be seen in the Reflect System booth #629 at the upcoming Digital Signage Expo in Chicago, builds upon the successful deployment of thousands of nodes, and channels, of ReflectView for in-store media and digital signage applications. ReflectView 2007 brings additional flexibility to all areas of the product, including major upgrades to player functionality, kiosk mode attract loop support, reporting and support for more hardware configurations.

Updates to ReflectView Player include support for Kiosk mode, enabling the player to work in conjunction with popular touch screens monitors and kiosk applications to provide a managed rich media attract loop environment. Additionally, the ReflectView Player is now compatible and certified with a wide variety of HD and SD video adapters including ATI, Nvidia, Matrox, Sencore in addition to the multi-channel offerings using Enseo products. For network operators and large networks with hundreds or thousands of downstream players and channels, enhanced system reporting tools and high-volume reporting options for proof-of-play and affidavits are now available. With ReflectView supporting an infinite variety of players, channels, dayparts and demographic segmentation, network operators and retailers can now leverage the ReflectView system to manage and deliver media to the correct location and quickly report on the success of a campaign.

"ReflectView 2007 represents another leap forward for retailers and network operators that plan on managing their own digital signage and in-store media networks," said Stan Woodward, chairman and chief executive officer of Reflect Systems. "ReflectView 2007 not only raises the bar within the industry but dramatically lowers the TCO for clients that require flexibility in player programming support, scalability and reliability, multiple channels and support for rich-media and interactive offerings."

Enhanced System Functionality

ReflectView 2007 leverages the existing drag-and-drop playlist scheduling capability and adds new tools for managing campaigns and groups of players and channels. "More and more retailers are recognizing the advantages that come from the implementation of dynamic in-store presentations," said Steve Vonder Haar, research director with Interactive Media Strategies. "Reflect Systems is among the leaders in developing a scalable, end-to-end solution that simplifies the process of weaving a wide range of content into a far-flung digital signage network."

ReflectView 2007 new player capability offers support for a wide range of media input and output options and supports a wider variety of display and management options for existing and new displays. ReflectView 2007 also offers the following upgrades and features for the individual components of the system, including ReflectView Server, Player, Publisher and Reporter:

o Microsoft PowerPoint -- In addition to the existing variety of rich
media content support, ReflectView 2007 now supports the use of native
Microsoft PowerPoint presentations for use in content playlists and
rich media themes, allowing for the use of Microsoft's familiar and
ubiquitous PowerPoint application for simple content creation and
editing.
o Kiosk Mode -- ReflectView Player now supports attract loops to run on
third-party kiosks and touchscreens. ReflectView hands off control to
the kiosk application once a customer engages with the kiosk. The
ReflectView Kiosk mode application, and the content, can be fully
controlled for daypart, demographic targeting and reporting of rich
media content playback.
o Enhanced Reporting -- Adding to the significant proof of performance
capabilities already present, ReflectView has added dramatic
improvements to the ReflectView Reporter application. New reporting
options include support for tracking promotional and advertising
campaigns and sponsorship data. ReflectView Reporter now supports
Microsoft SQL Server 2005 and can efficiently support report generation
for thousands and players and channels.
o Advanced Scheduling -- New to ReflectView Publisher are advanced
features for scheduling daylists, playlists and campaigns months in
advance in order to provide network operators the ability to make the
most efficient use of their networks.
o High Definition -- ReflectView continues to stay ahead of the curve in
the support of HD media. ReflectView Player now supports a variety of
content types and hardware configurations which enable multi-channel HD
playback of MPEG and Windows Media content from single ReflectView
Player including 8VSB for TV wall applications and new support for
1080p playback.

Now Available

ReflectView 2007 is being demonstrated at the Reflect Systems Booth #629 during Digital Retailing Expo, May 16-17 at Navy Pier in Chicago.
