Rugged device enables connectivity of up to 2 analog cameras, 1 analog video output, and supports MPEG-4, MPEG-2, MJPEG, and H264 codecs. Universal camera support and interface for data and voice integration to security applications makes device suitable for license plate recognition, motion detection, intelligent IP video, and facial recognition applications.

Mango DSP Introduces a Four-Channel PC 104 Intelligent Video Server for Harsh Environments and Mobile Surveillance


JERUSALEM, Israel, May 15 -- Mango DSP, a leading provider of advanced video solutions for the CCTV, video surveillance, Homeland Security and Defense markets, today announced the launch of the Raven X2 PC104+, an intelligent video server designed to meet the requirements of outdoor and mobile surveillance needs. The Raven X2 PC 104 has met the Cisco Technology Developer Program criteria for interoperability with the Cisco 3200 wireless video router and has been integrated to deliver surveillance solutions for the evolving market needs such as police cars and unmanned devices. The new solution is packaged in a rugged form factor, ensuring operational continuity in extreme surroundings

Applications of the Raven X2 104+ integrated with the Cisco 3200 Series Wireless and Mobile Router include features such as license plate recognition, motion detection, intelligent IP video, facial recognition, digital video recording, video conferencing, video sharing per incident, universal camera support and an efficient interface for data and voice integration to security applications. The combined solution will present a high-performance router with rugged, flexible design by Cisco IOS Router, supporting cellular modems and future wireless technologies (1xEVDO, 4.9 GHz, WiMAX).

The Mango IVS software utilizes video analytic software of leading content analysis providers, allowing it to detect and classify items according to pre-defined rules. Backend server architecture provides a user friendly, graphic based management tool enabling rapid and easy control over rules and alerts. The video server enables connectivity of up to 2 analog cameras, 1 analog video output and will support MPEG-4, MPEG-2, MJPEG, H264 CODECS.
