Radiation Detection Device senses radiation from dirty bombs.

June 5, 2007 - Model RDS-1000 Radiation Detection System detects gamma radiation from any object or person, identifies offending isotope, photographs perpetrator, records event data, and notifies system's supervisor of incident. System can be equipped with up to 8 radiation sensors, and multiple systems can be networked together for command center monitoring. It can also be integrated with SSR security solutions which include whole body scanning systems as well as defeat systems for remotely detonated bombs.

New Radiation Detection Device Senses Radiation from Dirty Bombs

Homeland Security Strategies is excited to announce the availability of our latest anti-terrorist solution, the RDS-1000 Radiation Detection System. The RDS-1000 has the ability to detect gamma radiation from any object or person and identify the offending isotope, photograph the perpetrator, record the event data and notify the system's supervisor of the incident. Radiation is automatically identified so the operator can tell whether the isotope is used for medical purposes or a terrorist's 'dirty bomb.'

Each RDS-1000 can be equipped with up to 8 'radiation' sensors, and multiple systems can be networked together for Command Center monitoring. According to Ben Jamil, company CEO, "This adds a new dimension to our SSR -Terrorist Trap System allowing for networked integration of our new sensor technology."

The system can also be integrated with our SSR security solutions, which include Whole Body Scanning systems as well as Defeat Systems for remotely detonated bombs used by terrorists. RDS-1000 units are currently shipping. For further information, visit: http://www.secintel.com/ps-990-25-dir...
