Color-coding technology combines with pre-moistened mopping for safe, healthy cleaning
BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (April 10, 2007) - Unger Enterprises, Inc. today announced the introduction of its SmartColor DampMop Pad System, a low moisture mopping system that features a 100% microfiber mop pad, a lightweight telescopic pole and an easy-to-maneuver pad holder.
"One benefit of using a damp mop pad is that it requires less solution than traditional mops, allowing for faster drying time and safer cleaning conditions," said Bruno Niklaus, vice president of global marketing, Unger Enterprises. "Combining these features with the power of microfiber, floors can be cleaned more efficiently."
The SmartColor DampMop Pad System includes the high-performing microfiber Damp Mop pad that features a high-density looped pile front and a unique "Z" hook and loop backing. This design provides long-lasting durability and streak- free performance to reduce the risk of dirt re-collecting. When used with the 18" SmartColor DampMop Pad Holder, a holder that features a swivel head and hook and loop backing, the mop easily glides across floors. Finally, the pad holder easily attaches to the Telescoping 2-Section Mop Handle, made of a lightweight aluminum, which extends up to six feet, easing worker strain and fatigue.
The SmartColor DampMop Pad System is part of Unger's SmartColor Cleaning System, a visual coding technology that promotes cleaning productivity and sanitation. The mop pads are available in red, green, blue and yellow and are intended for use respectively in the restroom, kitchen, office or for specialty cleaning.
