April 16, 2007 - Complying with NEC Hazardous Area Standard for flexible cables for use in Class 1, Division 1 locations, OLFLEX® POWER CLASS 1 DIV 1 power and control cable also conforms to RoHS requirements and is UL/CSA STOW hard service cordage rated. Oil and crush-resistant cable with exposed run approval is a multiconductor, 600 V, 90 oC, UL Type TC-ER, c(UL) Type TC/CIC that suits applications in all electrical equipment in dry, damp, and wet conditions.

Florham Park, NJ- Lapp Group introduces OLFLEX® POWER CLASS 1 DIV 1, a NEC Class 1 Div 1, UL TC-ER & STOW Hard service rated cordage for Hazardous Areas.

OLFLEX® POWER CLASS 1 DIV 1 is a multi-conductor, 600 Volt, 90oC, UL Type TC-ER, c(UL) Type TC/CIC. OLFLEX® POWER CLASS 1 DIV 1 is an oil resistant, flexible power and control cable with exposed run approval. It also is UL/CSA STOW hard service cordage rated. OLFLEX® POWER CLASS 1 DIV 1 is a very flexible and highly crush resistant cable that complies with the NEC Hazardous Area Standard for flexible cables for use in Class 1, Division 1 locations.

OLFLEX® POWER CLASS 1 DIV 1 also conforms to RoHS requirements and is one of the only TC cables with a wet rating approval and RoHS. It is also UV resistant and approved for direct burial. Due to higher stranding, precision extruded jacket, worldwide approvals, and Lapp's renowned quality, OLFLEX® POWER CLASS 1 DIV 1 is a superior alternative to stationary TC and power cables.
