Now radiation tolerant to 100 kRads(Si) total dose, Vectron's 5116 VCXO for the first time expands the capabilities of industry-standard MIL-PRF-55310/27 clock oscillators into the space market, offering customers proven reliability and performance for their demanding space applications, including manned and unmanned military and commercial satellites.

With its extremely ruggedized J-Leaded surface mount ceramic package architecture, brazed kovar leads and equivalent form factor to industry-standard MIL-PRF-55310/27 clock oscillators, the new 5116 VCXO has the same performance and quality assurance levels that were previously only available from larger, through hole, dual in-line or double dual in-line packages (DIP or DDIP).
