March 14, 2007 - Model 1536-SPW Scale Parts Washer cleans detachable scale parts such as weigh buckets, feeder pans, and chutes. Specialized wash racks, designed to protect parts during cleaning, can be loaded at weigh station and transported to the washer for cleaning. Machine was developed for Snack Food Industry to help them meet stringent food safety and labeling requirements.

Douglas Machines Develops New Washer for Detachable Weigh Scale Parts

Developed in cooperation with manufacturers of multihead weighers, the Douglas Model 1536-SPW Scale Parts Washer is designed to quickly and efficiently clean scale parts such as weigh buckets, feeder pans and chutes. Specialized wash racks can be loaded at the weigh station and transported to the washer for easy cleaning. Racks are available for all types and sizes of scales and are designed to protect the parts during cleaning and extend their lifetime. The machine was developed for the Snack Food Industry to aid in meeting more stringent food safety and labeling requirements and has the added benefit of reducing down time when product change overs are required.
