Featuring optional redesigned self-draining lid, 44-gallon BRUTE® container incorporates venting channels that decrease force required to lift full can liner by breaking the vacuum when full can liner is removed by allowing airflow by its sides and below. Four can-liner cinches make liner retention one-step process, and alleviate need to tie knots, while handles feature fully rounded surface and ProTouch(TM) soft grip material.

Winchester, VA - The new 44-gallon BRUTE®, from Rubbermaid Commercial Products, outperforms the competition by enabling easier and more efficient waste collection. Featuring several patent-pending enhancements, this addition to the BRUTE® family builds on Rubbermaid's tradition of superior performance, innovation, and durability.
"Workers' Comp injuries and lost productivity have a serious negative impact on the bottom line of facility maintenance professionals," said Clay Richey, Product Manager. "To help reduce repetitive stress and strain, we enhanced the design of our 44-gallon BRUTE® by incorporating venting channels. This feature decreases the force required to lift a full can liner by over fifty percent when compared to traditional containers. We also added can liner cinches and more comfortable handles. From top to bottom, the new BRUTE® solves many common user problems."
A key feature of the 44-gallon BRUTE® is the patent-pending venting channels that break the vacuum when a full can liner is removed by allowing airflow down the sides and underneath the can liner. A traditional container can require over 100 lbs of force to remove a filled can liner. The 44-gallon BRUTE® requires over fifty percent less effort because the integrated channels keep the can liner from forming a vacuum in the container.
Productivity is improved via the addition of four patent-pending can liner cinches, making liner retention an easy one-step process, alleviating the need to tie knots. To reduce hand fatigue and provide a more comfortable, secure grip, the newly designed handles have a fully rounded surface and feature ProTouch(TM) soft grip material.
The new 44-gallon BRUTE®, along with the optional redesigned self-draining lid, works with all existing BRUTE® products and accessories, including BRUTE® dollies, rim caddies, dome tops, lids, and containers.
