New Microprocessor Eurotherm Controller Available from Mokon
BUFFALO, N.Y. - Mokon introduces a new standard microprocessor based controller for its complete line of circulating water and heat transfer fluid temperature control systems and portable chillers. This operator-friendly and easy-to-use 1/16 DIN controller from Eurotherm provides accurate and reliable process control and offers the end-user more advanced features.
The controller offers a dual LCD display, which indicates the set point and actual fluid temperature. The advanced PID overshoot protection with self-tuning capabilities provides increased accuracy. The controller accepts Thermocouple, RTD and mA input for in-process sensor input and read flexibility. It is configurable to unique process requirements with scrolling text messages for easy viewing of system functions and safeties.
The controller also features tactile push buttons for ease of operation and parameter password security for tamper-proof operation. A NEMA 4 faceplate offers wash down capability. The controller will provide freeze stat protection standard for portable chiller systems and auto air purge for water and heat transfer fluid systems. There are optional 1/8 or ¼ DIN controllers available, with high/low deviation alarm, remote set point and retransmission and serial communication. A five-year warranty comes standard with the controller.
The economical 1/16 DIN microprocessor controller offers several benefits, including programmable soft start, promoting energy efficient operation; an automatic or on demand (adaptive) self-tuning function for outstanding programming capability; and advanced cooling algorithms to optimize cooling.
