February 13, 2007 - Available in 10-500 ton capacities, Outdoor Air-Cooled Central Chillers incorporate microprocessor-based chiller control technology. Chillers are factory wired and tested, and arrive on site in complete working order. Units feature air-cooled condenser with direct drive vertical condenser fans, and operate in outdoor ambient temperature range of 0-115°F.

Mokon Announces Outdoor Air-Cooled Central Chiller Systems


BUFFALO, N.Y. V Mokon announces the availability of its Outdoor Air-Cooled Central Chillers designed for exterior installation, freeing up valuable indoor equipment space. They are available from 10-ton up to 500-ton capacities.

"The Outdoor Air-Cooled Central Chiller Systems provide a space-saving cooling solution,¨ says Jeff Mallon, sales manager for Mokon. "Each chiller features the most advanced microprocessor chiller control technology and components to provide users with the highest degree of accuracy and ease-of-use.¨

Mokon Outdoor Central Chillers are compact, 100-percent factory wired and have easy lifting provisions for trouble-free installation. They are factory tested and arrive on site in complete working order, eliminating extended or challenging start-up. Increased reliability and lowered life cycle costs are achieved via a simple design, and optional control interfaces also are available.

The chillers deliver service accessibility, convenience and several user options. Each model is designed for an outdoor ambient temperature of 0 to 115°F and features an air-cooled condenser with direct drive vertical condenser fans. All chillers have superior EER ratings.

Mokon also offers a line of Stainless Steel Pump Tanks, which can be easily integrated with a Mokon central process water chiller, cooling tower or an existing cooling water system to create a complete system.
