King Innovation® Announces New DryConn® DBSR Black Series

November 16, 2006

As the leading manufacturer of waterproof wire connectors for the irrigation, low voltage lighting, and electrical industries, King Innovation announces the arrival of its new DryConn DBSR Black Series of waterproof connectors, the first all-in-one direct bury waterproof connector with latching stain relief that is offered in four different sizes.

DryConn DBSR Black Series is a one-piece direct bury twist-on wire connector designed for outdoor applications such as irrigation, landscaping, golf courses, and low-voltage lighting. With its easy latch lid, the DBSR Black Series provides strain relief, reducing stress on wires. Pre-filled with petroleum grease, DBSR Black Series also waterproofs and safeguards each splice from corrosion caused by harsh weather and underground elements. This further eliminates multi-step products like grease tubes, tape, mastics and epoxy packs.

With the added value of strain relief, DryConn DBSR Black Series provides an alternative to current direct bury products. Suitable for all direct bury and low voltage wire splices less than 50 volts, the DryConn DBSR Black Series is installed very quickly and easily - simply insert the pre-stripped wires into the connector, twist connector until tight, and snap the lid shut. With four different sizes, the DBSR Black Series has wire range combinations between #22 through #6, meeting the varying low voltage needs of outdoor contractors. Perfect for golf courses, landscape lighting, and both commercial and residential projects.
