New Traveling Wave Tube Amplifiers from AR Worldwide Deliver 125 Watts across 18 - 40 GHz Frequency Band
Souderton, PA - 11/17/06 - AR Worldwide RF/Microwave Instrumentation is committed to providing higher power amplifiers as well as to offering customers a wider choice of power options. To that end, the company has introduced a number of new amplifiers in recent weeks that fill in the power gaps in various frequency ranges.
The latest additions are two traveling wave tube amplifiers (TWTs) that provide 125 watts CW in the 18 - 40 GHz range. Model 125T18G26 is designed for the 18 - 26.5 GHz range; and Model 125T26G40 covers the 26.5 - 40 GHz range.
Along with two other models recently introduced that provide 75 watts CW (Model 70T18G26) and 70 watts CW (Model 70T26G40) in the 18 - 26.5 GHz and 26.5 - 40 GHz ranges respectively, AR Worldwide now offers significantly more power choices across this important frequency range.
The new TWTs are designed for applications where wide instantaneous bandwidth, high gain and higher power output are required. They provide readily available RF power for a variety of applications in Test and Measurement (including EMC RF susceptibility testing), Industrial and University research and development, and service applications.
Like the other AR Worldwide TWTs, the new models include a number of impressive features, such as a built-in IEEE-4888 (GPIB) interface, 0dBm input, VSWR protection, gain control, RF output sample port, auto sleep, plus monitoring of TWT helix current, cathode voltage, baseplate temperature and cabinet temperature.
