Gaynor Industries announces the introduction of a high-strength line of sealing nuts.
The BarTite Seal Fast nut is designed to withstand 12,000 psi of hydrostatic pressure while locking out moisture, vapors, liquids and pressurized air.
The line employs a patented plastisol formula resistant to petrochemicals, acids, solvents and salt spray.
A 360° impervious seal is attained when torque is applied and forces the plastisol to flow in three directions.
The company offers both conical and external lock keps nuts (preassembled nuts and washers) as standards in either zinc or zinc & yellow plating.
BarTite sealing nuts are suitable for use in filtering, hydraulics, motors and numerous other industrial and commercial applications where leakage needs to be prevented.
Literature, special sizes & materials, and quotations are available upon request.
