New Cummins Power Generation 20, 25, 30 kW LP-fueled Generator Sets Ideal for Standby or Prime Power
MINNEAPOLIS - Cummins Power Generation has introduced the new GGM series of LP vapor-fueled generator sets with ratings of 20, 25 and 30 kW that are suitable for a wide variety of standby or prime power applications. Powered by a three-liter industrial engine, models are also available to run on natural gas or LP liquid fuel.
"The new GGM series of gaseous-fueled generator sets are designed for standby applications such as remote cell phone towers, telecommunications switching facilities or small commercial buildings," says Timothy Gates, Product Manager for the Gaseous Generator Sets, Cummins Power Generation. "The units feature PowerCommand electronic control systems for high reliability and precise regulation of voltage and frequency."
The GGM series generator sets feature an electronic governor that provides fast response to load changes. Several sizes of alternators are available that offer selectable motor starting capability, low wave-form distortion with non-linear loads and fault-clearing capability. Optional aluminum weather-protective and sound-attenuated enclosures are available for maximum corrosion resistance in outdoor environments.
The generator sets are UL2200 listed and certified by the Canadian Standards Association (CSA). They can accept 100 percent of the nameplate standby rating in one step and comply with NFPA 110 Level 1. Cooling packages provide reliable operation in ambient temperatures of up to 53 degrees Celsius (127 degrees Fahrenheit).
All components and subsystems are covered by an express limited one-year warranty. Other optional and extended factory warranties and local distributor maintenance agreements are available.
