Mustang Technologies Introduces TracReturns v1.5.0
(Green Bay, WI) - Mustang Technologies is proud to announce the release of v1.5.0 of TracReturns. TracReturns is a RMA (return material authorization/return merchandise authorization) software product that tracks all phases of the product return process for manufacturers and distributors.
One of the primary new features in v1.5.0 is the tracking and reporting of failure codes on each return. Now, manufacturers and distributors can track the products and the reasons each product failed. Failure code reports are available so that manufacturers and distributors can track component failures across multiple products or by product.
TracReturns is a specific-use software product that does not require additional software components - such as accounting software modules. TracReturns is a great solution for manufacturers and distributors currently using a paper-based RMA system but need to move to a computer-based RMA system to improve customer service, to improve efficiencies, and to stay competitive - without the hassle of installing a complete accounting system. However, TracReturns is great for tool for technical support, engineering, and customer support departments to track failing products in the field.
TracReturns tracks the complete product return/RMA process from the customer's initial phone call, through receiving and repairing the product, to the final return of the product back to the customer. In addition to tracking failure codes, notes and documents (such as WORD documents, EXCEL spreadsheets, PDF's, and photos) can be attached to each return. Plus - statuses, failure codes, custom fields, and priorities can be assigned to each return.

At the end of the 30-day period, customers can elect to buy TracReturns and continue using it - or they can remove the product from their computer system and pay nothing.
